Rev. H.A. Knight has arrived at his post, Frankfort, much to the satisfaction of his people.

The widow of the late bishop Nazrey, passed through our city last week, on her way to Bermuda. She was introduced to the Preachers' Meeting, who, in a feeling prayer by Bishop Payne committed her to the keeping of the Heavenly Father.

John A. Sims of Washington city, a man who sees with his eyes, dropped in Brother Sims, was a lay delegate at our last General Conference, and has some idea of the work African Methodism is doing and has to do.

Rev. T.A. Davis of Emmanual M.E. Church, New York dropped in. He reports the work progressing finely.

Bishop J.M. Brown accompanied by his very estimable lady, in visiting the Centennial. They are the guests of Bishop Campbell.

Prof. Loudin is reaping laurels upon the Continent of Europe. His latest triumph was at Geneva, an account of which we hope soon to publish.

<< Archibald H. Grimke>> of Boston, a young lawyer of promise, stepped in. It is hinted that Mr. Grimke is meditating a change of base; should he so decide, Philadelphia will give him a glad reception.

Rev. C.L. Bradwell, and Rev. J.C. Embry have both sent to the Manager, letters of great value - financially, for which he returns many thanks.

The Manager is sending out the new Hymn Book as fast as he can get them bound.
